How fast can you lose weight without it being unhealthy

This winter break, I am planning on making a strong effort to lose weight. For all who are wondering, the break will be 6 weeks long.

Here is what I am planning to do: -Eat a very reasonable diet. -Take protein supplements. -Drink lots of water. -Ride my bike for an hour or two a day. -Go to the gym Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and do some anaerobic exercise to build lean muscle.

Would this be unhealthy I have a feeling I will lose weight rather quickly, but a friend told me that losing weight fast is almost as unhealthy as being overweight in the first place. Is my plan unreasonable

Any ideas on good diet plans for me

I'm 18, 6'3", 225lbs. I'm looking for a good diet plan (not necessarily diet) to lose some fat while maintaining my weight by exercising and putting back on some muscle. I'm in generally good shape but I've been out of commission for a few months now and have put some weight on. I need a pretty strict plan that will help me achieve my goal in roughly the same time I put the weight on. Any ideas, specific plans, or general rules you can suggest would be awesome.
