Warning! Not All Resveratrol Products Work!

After our team researched almost every Resveratrol product on the market we've found major differences in quality. Resveratrol has numerous weight loss and antioxidant benefits, as seen recently on TV shows including Oprah and 60 Minutes (#1 Superfood for Weight Loss and Health). But after testing Resveratrol products from a variety of companies we found some hardly had any of the desired effects, while others seemed to work miracles. We've compiled a list of the best Resveratrol products on the market. These are Tried and Tested products that produced great results for us.

Best Resveratrol Products Reviewed Below

Rez V XP (Free Trial Available!)

This product is, hands down, the best Resveratrol product that we have tested. This is the exact same resveratrol featured on Talk Shows and 60 Minutes. The free trial arrived just a few days after ordering and all of our reviewers started seeing results within the first week. Reviewers had reduced appetites and more youthful energy and every single one had at least some weight loss, with one person losing almost four pounds the firstond that in the 4 week trial it was very apparent the creases on their eyes had diminished.

RezV XP is the best product we've reviewed and a great choice for anyone looking to add Resveratrol into their diet. They have a free trial available as well.

Free Trial Available Greatly encourages weight loss Anti Aging Properties Reduces bloating, fatigue, constipation, and wrinkles Highest antioxidant levels

Resveratrol XM

Vital Resveratrol offers similar benefits as RezV XP, however we found that most people didn't lose as much weight but did feel an increase in energy. Weight loss was still respectable. The results were better then most resveratrol products and the Anti-Aging benefits were impressive. While the it took longer to take effect .

Takes more time to take effect though still effective Reduced appetite as well as gave more youthful energy Reduces bloating and constipation as well as dimiinishing eye lines

Vital Resveratrol

The results for Vital Resveratrol were interesting. We found that while it did cause some weight loss, it took much longer to take effect, and overall people didn't lose nearly as much weight as with the other Resveratrol products. It did however have a nice toning effect. XP Resveratrol is a decent product with reasonable pricing, but we'd recommend you try other products before ordering a trial.

Slower weight loss No effect on bloating and constipation

Resveratrol is an 100% natural supplement. It is a member of the phytoalexin molecules produced by plants, or synthetically. We can find Resveratrol in red wine or the red grapes' skin! The importance of Resveratrol was only recently shown! Experiments in drosophila melanogaster and mice show that resveratrol is responsible for anti-aging, anti-cancer, anti-heart diseases processes! Similar projects -like the one we conducted- are taking place in humans that clearly show its amazing abilities! Besides, the French paradox, that the natives of the Mediterranean part of France face much lower cases of coronary diseases, is explained due to the fact that the populations of this area are consuming large quantities of red wine! The ability of resveratrol to prevent from heart diseases is also shown experimentally. To be more specific it is shown that resveratrol can inhibit the progression of cardiac fibrosis.

As we mentioned before, the key of resveratrol activity's is the fact that resveratrol activates the Sirt1 Gene which starts creating the SIRT 1 protein in high quantities! SIRT1 takes places in many anti-aging processes like preventing apoptosis, cell death etc. It is also shown that resveratrol can protect us from neurological diseases like Allzhaimer, Huntigton's disease and more because this amazing molecule is effective against neuronal cell dysfunction and cell death.

Anti-aging Cosmetic Reduced Wrinkles In Clinical Trial

Anti-aging Cosmetic Reduced Wrinkles In Clinical Trial

ScienceDaily (May 3, 2009) — Scientists testing a cosmetic anti-ageing product sold commercially have shown it can clinically reduce wrinkles and improve the appearance of skin damaged by everyday exposure to sunlight.

Dermatologists at The University of Manchester carried out a clinical trial on 60 volunteers with typical signs of sun-damaged skin and found that the cosmetic, No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum, could improve some of these clinical features.

The study showed that 70% of individuals using the beauty product had significantly fewer wrinkles after 12 months of daily use compared to volunteers using a placebo.

The research team, headed by Professor of Dermatology Chris Griffiths, reported last year that the original No7 Protect & Perfect Beauty Serum stimulated the production of fibrillin-1, a protein that promotes elasticity in the skin.

For this latest, year-long study, the researchers first wanted to discover whether the new No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum also promoted fibrillin-1 production but also wished to test whether this would result in a reduction in wrinkles, as has been demonstrated with prescription retinoids.

“Very few over-the-counter cosmetic ‘anti-ageing’ products have been subjected to a rigorous, scientific trial to prove their effectiveness,” said Professor Griffiths, who is based in the University’s School of Translational Medicine at Salford Royal Foundation Hospital.

“Although prescription retinoids can have a reparative effect on photo-aged skin, there is scant evidence that any of the plethora of cosmetic ‘anti-ageing’ products can produce similar effects.”

The clinical trial – funded by Boots, the makers of the No7 product range – was carried out using standard scientific protocols. Having established that the No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum did increase fibrillin-1 production, 60 volunteers – 11 men and 49 women aged 45 to 80 years – were recruited to test its efficacy.

The No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum and a control formulation containing no anti-ageing ingredients were supplied in identical, coded packages, so neither investigators nor volunteers were aware as to the treatment of each individual. Thirty volunteers were assigned the No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum and 30 used the placebo formulation.

“Our findings demonstrate that a commercially-available cosmetic can produce significant improvement in the appearance of facial wrinkles following long-term use,” said Professor Griffiths.

“It is rare for such benefits to be reported for an over-the-counter anti-ageing product and this study paves the way for larger studies with more statistical power.”

Calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging

Definition

A calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging involves eating fewer calories than your body needs to maintain your normal weight — while still getting enough vitamins and other nutrients. Generally, a calorie-restriction diet may call for 20 to 30 percent fewer calories than usual.

Interest in the calorie-restriction diet as an anti-aging tool has grown as researchers have learned that restricting calories can extend the lives of animals. However, the possible role of a calorie-restriction diet for slowing the aging process in humans is still under investigation. Short-term studies have shown that a calorie-restriction diet can have both benefits and risks for humans, and it's unclear whether the diet can extend a person's life.

If you're interested in trying a calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging, consult your doctor and a registered dietitian to make sure you get enough vitamins and other nutrients.

Purpose

Proponents of the calorie-restriction diet claim that restricting calories slows the aging process, reduces the risk of various chronic diseases and leads to a longer life. If you're overweight, a calorie-restriction diet may also help you achieve a healthy weight. But a calorie-restriction diet can have both positive and negative health effects, and researchers haven't determined whether the regimen truly extends a person's life.

Diet details Research has shown the following health benefits for animals on a calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging:

Rodents that reduced their calorie consumption by 30 to 60 percent before age 6 months increased their maximum life spans by 30 to 60 percent. Rodents that reduced their calorie intake by 44 percent as adults — age 1 — increased their maximum life spans by 10 to 20 percent. Rodents that followed a calorie-restriction diet developed fewer chronic diseases associated with aging — such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer — or delayed the development of these diseases. A calorie-restriction diet decreased the deterioration of nerves in the brain and increased nerve creation in animals with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease and stroke.

Some researchers say that a calorie-restriction diet triggers a survival mechanism in animals with short life spans, such as rodents, that allows them to outlive food shortages. However, it's unclear whether people may benefit from a calorie-restriction diet the same way. Some researchers estimate that a long-term calorie restriction diet may only increase a person's life expectancy by 4 to 17 percent.

Researchers haven't identified a precise calorie limit for a calorie-restriction diet. It's even difficult to make general recommendations about calorie thresholds, due to variables such as body composition, genetics, age and daily energy expenditure. Generally, however, a calorie-restriction diet may call for 20 to 30 percent fewer calories than usual. If you're interested in a calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging, talk to your doctor.

Results

Limited research on the calorie-restriction diet for anti-aging suggests that it can lead to positive changes in:

Blood pressure Blood sugar Body fat percentage Cholesterol level Weight

Research also suggests that a calorie-restriction diet can improve memory in older adults. Most of these changes also reduce the risk of chronic diseases, such as heart disease, but it isn't clear whether they'll translate to a longer life span.

Risks

The calorie-restriction diet isn't safe for everyone — particularly older adults and people who are lean. Side effects of the calorie-restriction diet might include:

Menstrual irregularities Hormonal changes Reduced bone density Loss of muscle mass

If you're following a calorie-restriction diet, you can offset some losses in bone density and muscle mass through regular physical activity, such as walking or jogging, and by making sure you get enough calcium and vitamin D.

Excessive calorie restriction can cause:

Anemia Dizziness Depression Irritability Lethargy Swelling in your legs and feet See Also

What are the best anti-aging moisturizers you should use and which ones to Avoid (Ray) | Best Anti Aging Skin Care Products

What are the best anti-aging moisturizers you should use and which ones to Avoid (Ray)

When it comes to anti-aging moisturizer use is extremely important. But, there are some common moisturizers that you should avoid and some less common ones that you should look for. Read on to learn all about them.

Petrolatum is, by far, the most common ingredient in lotions and creams. Its the same thing as petroleum jelly. It does not moisturize, because it does not penetrate. It can help prevent diaper rash, because it prevents moisture from entering the skin.

Mineral oils are simply liquid petrolatum. They should not be included in anti-aging moisturizer, because with regular use they cause excessive dryness, destroy the natural pH balance and inhibit the bodys natural ability to create new skin cells and fibers.

Petrolatum and other oils derived from petroleum byproducts are not similar to the skins own sebum. It is the sebum that provides natural moisture and protects the skin from damage.

On the other hand, some vegetable and plant oils are very similar to human sebum, so they are very moisturizing. Similarly, waxes from plants help to prevent moisture loss and some of the oils and waxes balance sebum production, so that the skin is neither too dry, nor too oily. Theres your solution for combination skin-types.

For the body, men and women can use the same anti-aging moisturizer. The best ones contain numerous moisturizers, vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients that promote the production of fibers and cells.

Ingredients to look for include:

Protein peptides, because the skins layers are actually a tightly woven mesh of amino acid proteins. Coenzyme Q10 and natural vitamin E in an ultrafine solution that can penetrate deeply to stop free radical formation. Wakame kelp, because it blocks enzymatic activity that lowers the skins protein levels. Honey, because it is naturally healing, has antioxidant, antibacterial and antiseptic activity. Olive oil, because it most closely resembles sebum. Jojoba oil, because it balances sebum production, evening out the dry and oily patches. Grape seed oil, because of its antioxidant activity and its essential fatty acids. It has been shown to reduce stretch marks, which are in actuality similar to wrinkles. Vitamin B5 because it provides natural protection from the sun and enhances the tanning process.

Both men and women should use a daily anti-aging moisturizer on their face, but their needs are a bit different. Men tend to have excessive redness and inflammation. Women may have some inflammation, but since they dont shaver their faces, they have less irritation.

Many of the ingredients are the same as the ones you would use on your body to what you would use on your, for men, there are a couple of others that relieve burns from razors, as well as overexposure to the sun. Instead of using after shave lotion, use an anti-aging moisturizer that contains capuacu butter and witch hazel.

For women, a special passion fruit extract makes the skin feel soft and velvety while balancing sebum production, so it works really well under make-up. The use of anti-aging moisturizer is very important, but only if it contains the right ingredients. Get the Latest

Best Resveratrol value on the market!, December 10, 2008
From North Carolina
I had been taking Biovita (1 pill = 250mg = about sixty cents), but this product is cheaper even if you take more (3 pills = 300mg = about 45 cents). Country Life is a trusted name, and as a bonus, this formula includes three other beneficial compounds (grape seed extract, grape skin extract, and pine bark extract) giving you proven broad-spectrum potent anti-oxidant protection (even if this whole resveratrol craze doesn't pan out). Anyway, I am pleased with this product. I take two capsules first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach) with Quercetin and Lecithin for enhanced absorption. Was this review helpful to you

East Weight Loss Tea Review

What You Should Know

According to the product websites Easy Weight Loss Tea can help you burn unwanted fat and feel energized so that you can drop excess pounds quickly and easily. The tea is known as Wu-Yi, a type of oolong tea. Ingredients in oolong tea have been scientifically shown to oxidize fat and may have some thermogenic properties as well. However, we have serious doubts about the claims this “miracle” tea makes on websites marketing this product.

There are a number of factors that concern us in regards to the websites selling Easy Weight Loss Tea. First, there is very little concrete information about the ingredients or scientific evidence that the ingredients will work. We caution consumers from purchasing any diet supplement that does not readily disclose this information. Second, we were unable to find a price for the tea on any of these websites. Instead, the consumer is pushed into signing up for a “free” 14-day trial that may result in membership to a program where the customer receives the product regularly and the credit card is automatically billed for the shipment.

List of Ingredients

While it is difficult to ascertain all of the ingredients in Easy Weight Loss Tea, we did find that the product contains garcinia cambogia, gymnema sylvestre, chromium polynicotinate, green tea, and acai berry. Most of these ingredients are fairly standard in many weight loss supplements although none stand out as particularly potent ingredients.

Garcinia cambogia and acai berry both claim to be appetite suppressants although the jury is still out on just how effective they are. Gymnema sylvestre is a natural treatment for diabetes but its effect on weight loss remains unproven. The best ingredient in this formula may be the green tea which is a proven metabolism booster that helps the body burn calories more effectively. Unfortunately, other ingredients in the mix do not maximize the effectiveness of the green tea for best results.

Product Features

The marketing for this product appears littered with grandiose claims that do not have substantial backing. For example, some of the sites offering this product state that it is not for people desiring to lose just a few pounds because the formula is too powerful for smaller weight loss goals. We find this marketing approach concerning, since it appears to be more interested in hooking customers and reeling them in rather than allowing them to make educated decisions about their weight loss products based on scientific studies and concrete information.

Advantages

There have been documented health benefits to drinking tea regularly. The product does come with a money back guarantee

Disadvantages

Product websites provide little concrete information. Complete ingredient lists are not available. We had difficulty finding a price for the product. There aren’t many potent ingredients to offer a significant weight loss result.

Conclusion

It is hard to get past the hyped up marketing of the Easy Weight Loss Tea to see if the product has any real substance. While drinking tea can be a healthy habit; it is a far cry from a weight loss miracle. We would urge consumers to look for weight loss supplements that contain proven appetite suppressants and fat burners for best results.

**Our Top Weight Loss Choice**

Top Choice for 2009: Avesil

Avesil is clearly the most promising weight control formula we know of on the market. After looking at hundreds of different purported weight loss supplements, Avesil was the most rigorously researched one that we could find. The foundation behind the Avesil formula was an original scientific research study that incorporated an incredible 284 previously published peer-reviewed clinical studies, many conducted in university research labs. All of the product claims made about Avesil are substantiated by this large volume of research.

Unlike many fad weight loss ingredients (hoodia, acai berry, etc.) which are at best supported by folklore and at worst by pop culture, Avesil is totally rooted in disciplined scientific study. In fact, two research trials conducted on human subjects, later published in highly respected scientific journals, concluded that the primary ingredients in Avesil resulted in an average weight loss of more than 3 times that of a healthy diet and exercise alone.

Customers will notice that the claims made about Avesil are quite reasonable and not the least far-fetched. Simply put, Avesil is a safe, healthy way to promote a significant increase in weight loss when taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. In today's market there is a shamefully high number of consumers who have been deceived by outrageous "no work" promises, manufactured customer testimonials and bogus before/after pictures used by so many marketers of weight loss supplements. Avesil promises to deliver healthy, reasonable, and significant weight loss benefits - all offered through the process of a risk-free trial, leaving customers with very little to lose (other than weight).
